I suppose months of silence indicate that I am not a natural blogger. Perhaps I need to force myself to blog, as an assignment, since it is not something that I do just for fun. Why do you blog?

I return to blogging as a part of a new commitment to technology. I am ordinarily willing to hide myself among books and to let dusty pages form the core of my communication. But momentary epiphanies suggest that I can no longer hide in the pages of print. I must explore the digital in a less-than-peripheral way. So, without promising anything, I offer this post, and we shall see in what manner others follow.
